It's been quite a while since my last post here. There are several reasons or better said excuses for me not to write during this time. But as I am staying at home most of the time during these days it is the best time to start writing again.
My last post here was the UTMB race report in 2015. After UTMB I attended a few other races listed below. I will write about my experience in future posts.
Cappadocia Ultra Trail 2015
Covid-19 is spreading all around the world. It is advised to stay at home and reduce any outdoor activity. So please stay safe and don't risk your life. Let's hope this hard time passes quickly. We'll be more grateful in life after these days.
Anyway I am posting an update after more than four years. I would be grateful to hear your feedback. So please drop me a line and tell me what you would like to see on this blog. Do you prefer to read race reports and my experience? Or should I write more about my training? Or even update the reading list and race wish list?

Cappadocia Ultra Trail 2015
I ran this race in 2014 and finished with my first DNF. So came back in 2015 and ran the whole course.Lavaredo Ultra Trail 2016
One of the most beautiful courses I have ever run and great organization. I finished in 25 hours and couldn't resist to run it once again in 2017.Swiss Irontrail T201
This was probably the hardest situation I have ever experienced during the race. Pouring rain and snow throughout the day. Ended up with a DNF early in the race. Around 80 Km. I really wanted to come back and run the whole 201 km of this race, but unfortunately the race discontinued from that year.Lavaredo Ultra Trail 2017
Probably the only time that I wasn't really prepared for a race. Still could run the whole course. Three hours slower than previous year though. No races in 2018
In 2018 I registered for two races but couldn't attend any of those as my visa wasn't issued on time. The first one was Sudtirol in Italy which it is in future race list. And the other was the great UTMR which I ran a part of it in 2019.UTMR 2019
Although it ended up with a bad luck and I could only run less than a third of it, I have to say it is one of the most beautiful trails you can ever run. Bold, Brutal and Beautiful!
The race stopped after 50 km due to harsh weather. I know I will run this race at some point in the future.UTMF 2020
I did registered for UTMF and was quite lucky in the draw. But guess what? It is already cancelled due to Corona Virus.
